Hailing from Andhra Pradesh state in India, he influenced younger generations with his socially relevant writings. Yandamoori Veerendranath () is a Telugu novelist. Currently, he is writing a weekly serial in Sakshi Sunday magazine "Funday", by name "Dega Rekkala Chappudu". Hence, Veerendranath reverted to writing. Both the films were based on his own novels but were not well received by audiences. He also directed two motion pictures in Telugu, the first being "Agnipravesam", starring Yamuna, and the second film with Chiranjeevi by name, "Stuvartpuram Police Station". Many of his novels have been made into motion pictures in Telugu. His first film as a dialogue writer won a best regional award from the President of India. In addition to financial success, he has won many awards for his work.
